This policy covers scawning.com.my. We keep it deliberately short, because we collect very little — enough to call you back about the work you asked us to quote, and nothing more.
01What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to send: your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, the service you are interested in and whatever you write in the message.
- Contact details you type into the enquiry form
- Photographs or drawings you send us about your property
- Basic, anonymous traffic statistics such as pages visited and device type
02Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry — arranging a site visit, preparing a quotation, and following up on work already carried out. Traffic statistics are used only to understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
03What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone
- We do not share your contact details with other contractors
- We do not send marketing messages to numbers that only enquired about a quotation
- We do not publish photographs of your property without asking you first
04How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can honour warranty claims and answer follow-up questions about work we completed. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will do so, unless we are required to keep a record of a completed contract.
06Third parties
Messages sent through WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp under their own privacy terms. The map on our contact page is served by Google. We do not control what those services collect and recommend reviewing their policies if that matters to you.
07Your rights
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
