These terms apply to work carried out by SC Awning. They are written plainly on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you sign the quotation.
01Quotations
Every quotation is issued in writing after a site visit and remains valid for 30 days. The scope listed on the quotation is the scope we will carry out. If site conditions require a change, we will tell you and obtain your approval before proceeding — the price does not change on its own.
02Site visit and 3D design
The site visit, measurement and 3D design are provided free of charge and carry no obligation. The design remains our property until the quotation is accepted.
03Deposit and payment
- A deposit is payable on acceptance to cover materials and fabrication
- The balance is due on completion, after you have inspected the work
- Payment terms are stated on each quotation and take precedence over this page
04Scheduling and delays
We confirm an installation date before work begins and we keep to it. Where weather, access restrictions or a delay caused by another trade on site makes that impossible, we will inform you as early as we can and agree a new date with you.
05Your responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the working area on the agreed dates
- Confirm boundary lines and any restrictions that apply to your property
- Obtain permission from management or neighbours where the work requires it
06Warranty
Workmanship is covered for five years from the handover date. Materials carry the manufacturer warranty, which is stated on your quotation. The warranty document is signed and handed over on completion.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by storms beyond normal weather, alteration of the installation by another party, impact damage, or a lack of the routine maintenance we explain at handover.
07Variations and additional work
Any work you request beyond the quoted scope will be quoted separately and carried out only after you approve it in writing, including by message.
08Photography
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio. Tell us if you would prefer we did not, and we will not publish images of your property.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
