The challenge
An 18-foot clear span with no intermediate support, on a wall that had already been extended once and could not carry the load on its own.
What we did
Structural steel sized for the full span, anchored into the columns rather than the brickwork, finished with double-layer ACP for rigidity. No post, no flex, no rattle in a storm.
