The challenge
The old leaf was heavy enough that the previous motor was working past its rating, which is why it kept failing. The owner also wanted the frontage to feel less closed off.
What we did
A powder-coated aluminium leaf, considerably lighter and rust free, paired with a motor sized for the real weight. Frosted glass panels were worked into the upper section to open up the frontage without losing privacy.
